Ban Bikes in the Center of Campus

Many students get around campus by riding bicycles, which is great. However, I think that in particular—the center of campus between the academic buildings—riding bikes should be prohibited. The sidewalks connecting the academic buildings are narrow. When students ride their bikes on these sidewalks it’s not very safe for other students who are walking to their classes because there’s very little room on them.

In order to ensure that students follow the rule, anyone caught riding their bikes in this area should be made to pay a fine.

Our powerful sense of small allows us to tell the difference between many kinds of odors. These odors are interpreted and processed in a part of the brain that affects our emotions, behavior, and memory. Given this knowledge, market researchers are studying the effects of what is known as environment scenting. This technique attempts to use pleasant fragrances to increase customer safes. The results of these marketing students indicate that smells can strongly influence consumers both in their willingness to buy a product and in the value they place on product
